A couple extras...
I did some medical research today (not surprising after spending several days with a couple docs).
In medicine everything is abbreviated so only the doctors know what you are being billed for. I identified a medical condition that applies to cyclists, whether motorized or not. It is: A Riders Sense of Equilibrium
When riding under normal conditions the constant shifting back and forth, leaning in turns and quick movements to maintain your balance keep A Riders Sense of Equilibrium sharp, so that the rider stays upright.
However, when riding in cold weather the rider is overcome by a sense that if he/she moves it will allow the flow of cold air to move up a sleeve or pant leg further than previously experienced. So you don't move, at all if possible, in an attempt to stay warm. The downside of this is that when you finally stop it is sometimes difficult to put your feet down or support your bike in a way that keeps it from tilting to the side.
This proves that it is scientifically possible to freeze your A.R.S.E. off!
Then there is this:
The shower stall at Poyo's Thai Kitchen and Spare Beds Emporium. There are three levels of "steps" on the back side of the stall. The middle set is obviously intended to hold soap or shampoo products. While taking a shower it occurred to me that, because the shower stall is so small it is difficult to raise a leg up far enough to wash one's feet, so the bottom set serves as a foot rest, steadying the user so that legs and feet can be easily and safely scrubbed.
But the top set? The only thing I can think of is so kinky I can't say in a family forum. Anyone?

I know what the top step is for but I can't say.
ReplyDeleteYou got the first 2 ledges wrong, that's why you can't figure out the third. You have to put yourself in the mindset of the typical clientel... the climbers. Now obviously, they may need to find various handholds while climbing Denali, but this isn't your typical rock climbing. Denali is going to be cold and wet. So what better way to practice than throwing on some cold water and climbing the wall of your shower!? (Children do not try this at home; Denali climbers have years of experience that allow their insurance companies to have already maxed out their deductibles)
